How do I find my ORI code?

The system administered by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) utilizes an ORI code. This number is provided by FDLE and identifies the agency requesting the criminal history check and for what purpose. The OCA or Licensing Number (Controlling Agency Identifier) number is provided by the Clearinghouse and identifies the provider requesting the background check. This list does not include many of the codes for VECHS (Volunteer & Employee Criminal History System) background checks which we also perform and are organization specific as well as many of the new codes.
